The International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) has played an important role in supporting those people affected by the terrible floods at different districts of Bangladesh including Sylhet. IQRA announced on social media to raise a fund to help the flood victims. Well-wishers from home and abroad responded to this announcement and cooperated with us in this noble cause.

IQRA Team distributed Food & necessary items in Sylhet at is Lamakaji, Mirerbagh, Fatehpur Phulkuchi, Khalpar, Begumpur, Islampur, Khasergaon, Biswanath, Amtal, Gobindganj, Chagalpara.

IQRA Team distributed food package and cash money to four different locations in Netrokona district including Muslims, Sanatan, Garo Tribes and people of all castes and Religion.

For the flood victims in Kurigram, IQRA Organization has given cash money, clothes, baby food to the people of Nunkhawa Union of Nageshwar Upazila, Kachakata Upazila and the remote areas of Narayanpur Union. There were many respected Imams/Muazzin in Kurigram who did not get any kind of support from anyone. IQRA organization distributed gifts to them.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the IQRA organization has distributed Beef and Lamb meat to thousands of flood-affected people at Sylhet, Netrokona and Kishorganj districts so that they can at least taste meat on the day of Eid.

In sha Allah, IQRA organization will soon start the self-reliance and rehabilitation for the flood victims.
