International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) members meet the newly appointed Director General of Islamic Foundation Bangladesh on 21st September at the Islamic Foundation Office. IQRA members were invited by the Director General and Additional Secretary of the Govt. Mr. Anis Mahmud.
IQRA members included the President Sheikh Ahmad Bin Yusuf Al-Azhari, Secretary General Mr. Sakhawat Khan, Asst. Secretary General Engr. Khaled Bin Yusuf, Senior Executive Members Qari Mahbubur Rahman and Qari Jahangir Alam Khan.
Mr. Anis Mahmud appreciated the activity of IQRA in Bangladesh. He also remembered the contribution of Qari Muhammad Yusuf Rah. in spreading Quran recitation in Bangladesh and abroad.
During the meeting Islamic Foundation Officials Dr. Harunur Rashid, Mawlana Waliur Rahman, Mr. Anisur Rahman Sarkar, Mr. Mohiuddin Mojumder etc. were present.
