The 18th International Quran Recitation Conference was held at Dhaka,Bangladesh on 25th-26th January 2018.The conference was organized by International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) and Sponsored by PHP Family Bangladesh.
The conference was inaugurated by Sheikh Dr. Ikrama saeed Sabri,Grand Khatib of Al Aqsa Mosque,Palestine.Mr. Bazlul Haque haroon MP,Chairman,Parliamentary Standing Committee,Ministry of Religious Affairs,People’s Republic of Bangladesh, was present as the Special guest. Alhajj Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman,Chairman PHP Family, was present as the Chief Patron.The participant Qari’s were, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Ahmed Naina(Egypt), Sheikh Qari Ahmad Bin Yusuf Al Azhari (Bangladesh), Qari Saiyed Muhammad jawad Hussaini(Iran), Sheikh Mohamed Mohamed El Murigi (Egypt), Sheikh Riad Al Jazaeri (Algeria) and Qari Tayyab Jamal(India). Excellencies, Ambassadors and Dignitaries of Foreign Missions accredited to Bangladesh were also present as the guests of honor.
Shaikhul Qurra Qari Muhammad Yusuf chaired the conference. The conference took place at 13 locations of Bangladesh under the auspices of International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA).
