The 16th International Quran Recitation Conference was held at Dhaka,Bangladesh on 11th-12th February 2016.The conference was organized by International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) and Sponsored by PHP Family Bangladesh.The conference was inaugurated by the International Relations & Foreign Affairs Advisor to Hon. Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Gowher Rizvi. Alhajj Sufi Muhammad Mizanur Rahman,Chairman PHP Family, was present as the special guest.The participant Qari’s were, the world topmost Qari Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Ahmed Neanaa (Egypt),Sheikh Qari Ahmad Bin Yusuf Al Azhari (Bangladesh), Sheikh Qari Mohamed Mohamed El Murigi (Egypt), Sheikh Riad Al Jazaeri (Algeria), Qari Dr. Kocher Omar Ali (Kurdistan,Iraq) and Qari Hamid Reza Ahmadi Wafa (Iran). Excellencies, Ambassadors and Dignitaries of participated countries accredited to Bangladesh were also present as the guests of honor. Shaikhul Qurra Qari Muhammad Yusuf chaired the conference.

The conference took place at 10 locations of Bangladesh under the auspices of International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) .
