The 17th International Quran Recitation Conference was held at Dhaka,Bangladesh on 26^th-27^th January 2017.The conference was organized by International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA) and Sponsored by PHP Family Bangladesh.The conference was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister for Shipping, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Shajahan Khan MP. Alhajj Sufi Muhammad Mizanur Rahman,Chairman PHP Family, was present as the special guest.The participant Qari’s were, Sheikh Mohamed Ahmed Basyuny(Egypt), Sheikh Qari Ahmad Bin Yusuf Al Azhari (Bangladesh), Sheikh Mohamed Elhoseiny Ei’tah(Egypt), Sheikh Mohamed Mohamed El Murigi (Egypt), Qari Dr. Abdel Fattah Elforaici(Morocco), Qari Tayyab Jamal(India) ,Qari Jafar Fardi(Iran) and Qari Dr. Anuar Bin Hasin (Malaysia). Excellencies, Ambassadors and Dignitaries of Egypt,Iran,Morocco,Qatar,USA,Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam accredited to Bangladesh were also present as the guests of honor. Shaikhul Qurra Qari Muhammad Yusuf chaired the conference. The conference took place at 12 locations of Bangladesh under the auspices of International Quran Recitation Association (IQRA).
